Sur avis conforme du ministre de la Défense nationale, il plaît à Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil d'autoriser des membres des Forces canadiennes à accepter et à porter la médaille du Groupe d'observateurs militaires des Nations Unies pour l'Iran et l'Iraq (GOMNUII) en reconnaissance de leur service honorable au sein du Groupe d'observateurs militaires des Nations Unies pour l'Iran et l'Iraq.
Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Defence, is pleased hereby to authorize members of the Canadian Forces to accept and wear the United Nations Iran-Iraq Military Observer Group (UNIIMOG) Medal in recognition of honourable service with the United Nations Iran-Iraq Military Observer Group.
