En sus des consultations officielles organisées par la Commission, une nouvelle section de notre site internet «Mieux légiférer» intitulée «Aidez-nous à réduire les formalités - Donnez votre avis!» permettra à tout un chacun de formuler avis et commentaires sur les législations existantes et initiatives en cours de l'UE.
A new "Lighten the Load – Have Your Say" feature on the Commission's better regulation website will give everyone a chance to air their views and make comments on existing EU laws and initiatives in addition to the formal consultations the Commission undertakes.

Conformément aux objectifs énoncés dans les orientations «Mieux légiférer» et «Un marché intérieur plus approfondi et plus équitable», la Commission publie une communication intitulée «Stimuler la croissance et la cohésion des régions frontalières de l'Union européenne», accompagnée d'une série de nouvelles mesures concrètes et d'une liste des initiatives en cours visant à aider les zones frontalières de l'UE à se développer plus rapidement et à se rapprocher.
In line with the objectives for Better Regulation and a deeper and fairer internal market, the Commission is issuing a communication on "Boosting growth and cohesion in EU border regions", with a set of new concrete actions and a list of ongoing initiatives to develop further, to help EU border regions grow faster and ever closer.

La présente directive tient compte du programme "Mieux légiférer" de la Commission, et notamment de la communication de la Commission intitulée "Une réglementation intelligente au sein de l'Union européenne", qui a pour objectif de concevoir et de produire une réglementation qui soit de la meilleure qualité possible, tout en respectant les principes de subsidiarité et de proportionnalité et en garantissant que les charges administratives soient proportionnées aux avantages qu'elles procurent.
This Directive takes into account the Commission's better regulation programme, and, in particular, the Commission Communication entitled "Smart Regulation in the European Union", which aims at designing and delivering regulation of the highest quality whilst respecting the principles of subsidiarity and proportionality and ensuring that the administrative burdens are proportionate to the benefits they bring.

Les politiques communautaires visant à mieux légiférer, notamment celles énoncées dans les deux communications de la Commission au Conseil, au Parlement européen, au Comité économique et social européen et au Comité des régions, respectivement intitulées «Examen stratégique du programme “Mieux légiférer” dans l’Union européenne» du 14 novembre 2006 et «Programme d’action pour la réduction des charges administratives dans l’Union européenne» du 24 janvier 2007, insistent sur l’importance de réduire les charges administratives imposées aux entreprises par la législation existante, en tant qu’élément essentiel pour améliorer leur compétitivité et réaliser les objectifs de Lisbonne.
Community policies on better regulation, in particular those set out in the two Communications from the Commission to the Council, the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions entitled respectively ‘A strategic review of Better Regulation in the European Union’, of 14 November 2006, and ‘Action Programme for Reducing Administrative Burdens in the European Union’, of 24 January 2007, stress the importance of reducing the administrative burdens imposed on enterprises by existing legislation as a crucial element for improving the competitiveness of such enterprises and for achieving the objectives of the Lisbon agenda.
