LOME IV - REVISION A MI-PARCOURS Le Conseil, suite à un exposé introductif du Vice-Président MARIN a procédé à un échange de vues sur les différents aspects de la négociation pour la revue à mi-parcours de la 4ème Convention ACP-CEE dont l'ouverture aura lieu le 20 mai prochain à Mbabane/Swaziland (à l'occasion de la session annuelle du Conseil des Ministres ACP-CE) et dont l'objectif est de procéder à une révision partielle de la Convention pour l'adopter à la lumière de l'expérience et des nouveaux problèmes qui affectent les relations entre les deux parties.
LOME IV - MID-TERM REVIEW Following an introductory statement by Mr MARIN, Vice-President of the Commission, the Council discussed the various aspects of the negotiations for the mid-term review of the Fourth ACP-EEC Convention, which will begin on 20 May in Mbabane, Swaziland (at the annual meeting of the ACP- EEC Council of Ministers) with the aim of partially revising the Convention to adjust it in the light of experience and the new problems affecting relations between the two parties.
