1. Si des matières fongibles originaires et d’autres non originaires sont mises en œuvre dans l’ouvraison ou la transformation d’un produit, les autorités douanières des États membres peuvent, sur demande écrite des opérateurs économiques, autoriser que les matières concernées soient gérées dans l’Union selon la méthode de la séparation comptable, aux fins de leur exportation ultérieure vers un PTOM dans le cadre du cumul bilatéral, et ce sans que lesdites matières fassent l’objet de stocks distincts.

If originating and non-originating fungible materials are used in the working or processing of a product, the customs authorities of the Member States may, at the written request of economic operators, authorise the management of materials in the Union using the accounting segregation method for the purpose of subsequent export to an OCTs within the framework of bilateral cumulation, without keeping the materials on separate stocks.

3 (1) Where a producer of a good chooses, with respect to non-originating materials that are identical materials or fungible materials, any of the methods referred to in section 2, the producer may not use another of those methods with respect to any other non-originating materials that are identical materials or fungible materials, as the case may be, and that are used in the production of that good or in the production of any other good with respect to which a calculation under subsection 4(1) of these Regulations has been made.
