The recent adoption of the Community Research and Development outline programme 1987-1992 is an additional development factor for COMETT. After consulting the COMETT Comittee, the Commission attempted in the second round to strengthen strand B in comparison with the first round, to identify strand B, C and/or D operations which are complementary to strand A operations (UETPs) approves in the first round, and to make supplementary allocations for certain projects adopted earlier, so as to give them more substantial financing/.- 3 - The dossiers relating to the new projects to be financed under the COMETT programme in 1988 will have to be submitted to the Commission before 31 March 1988.
