Ils doivent être très indignés de ce qui s'est passé à la Chambre hier soir, puisque le gouvernement a manqué à sa parole et n'a pas reconnu le mariage comme l'union d'une homme et d'une femme à l'exclusion de toute autre forme d'union.
Marriage Mr. Reed Elley (Nanaimo—Cowichan, Canadian Alliance): Mr. Speaker, it is a pleasure to present to the House a petition from 125 of my constituents, mostly from Duncan, British Columbia, who would of course be very upset with what happened in this House last night, because the government has not kept its promise to recognize the union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.
