TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

F. considérant que la diversité des films européens reflétant la richesse et la force de la diversité culturelle et linguistique de l'Europe se traduit par une fragmentation naturelle du marché cinématographique européen;
F. whereas the diversity of European films reflecting the richness and strength of Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity means that the European film market is naturally fragmented;

8. souligne la plus-value qu'apporte une aide européenne, en particulier pour ce qui est de la diffusion transfrontalière de films et d'éviter que le marché cinématographique européen ne se morcelle davantage; salue, à cet égard, l'engagement pris, le 18 mars 2011, par le Président Barroso afin de maintenir et de renforcer le programme MEDIA; demande à la Commission d'accorder des financements dans le cadre du nouveau programme MEDIA pour la période après 2013 et du Fonds européen de développement régional, afin de soutenir la numérisation des cinémas projetant des films européens;
8. Emphasises the added value of European support, particularly with regard to cross-border screening of films and in preventing further fragmentation of the European cinema market; in this context, welcomes the commitment made by President Barroso on 18 March 2011 to maintain and further strengthen the MEDIA programme; calls on the Commission to earmark funding under the new MEDIA programme for the post-2013 period and under the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRD) to support the digitisation of cinemas showing European content;

Le Conseil invite les États membres à encourager la création des produits cinématographiques et audiovisuels par des politiques nationales de soutien. Les aides nationales dans ce domaine pourront ainsi contribuer à l'émergence d'un marché audiovisuel européen.
The Council calls on the Member States to conduct national policies to support the creation of film and audiovisual products, since national aid may contribute to the emergence of a European audiovisual market.
