Mrs. Jane Stewart: You'll be interested to know, Mr. Goldring, that as we were developing the new Immigration Act, there were voices from this side of the table that were very aggressive in our caucus in terms of pointing out to the minister that we had to make sure our tradition of welcoming those who are trained in the trades would not have a problem and would continue to be a part of the flow of new immigrants to Canada.
