Sur motion de Pat O’Brien, il est convenu, Que, nonobstant la motion adoptée par le Comité du 19 février 2002 (motion de M. O’Brien) en ce qui concerne le Sous-comité du commerce, des différends commerciaux et des investissements internationaux, le Comité adopte un itinéraire et le budget d’une mission d’information au Brésil, Chili, Colombie, Costa Rica et Pérou pour le Sous-comité du commerce, des différends commerciaux et des investissements internationaux, du 28 avril au 12 mai 2002, afin d’examiner la question de la Zone de libre-échange des Amériques en vue d’un renforcement des relations entre le Canada et les Amériques.
On a motion by Pat O’Brien, it was agreed, That, not withstanding the Committee’s motion of February 19, 2002 (motion of Mr. O’Brien) with regard to the Sub-committee on Trade, Trade Disputes and Investments, the Committee adopt an itinerary and budget for a fact finding mission to Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Peru of the Sub-committee on Trade, Trade Disputes and Investments from April 28 to May 12, 2002 to examine the Free Trade Area of the Americas in view of strengthening economic relations between Canada and the Americas.
