Afin d’assurer l’exécution des obligations ayant trait à la pharmacovigilance introduites par le règlement (UE) no 1235/2010 et la directive 2010/84/UE, il est nécessaire d’adapter le règlement (CE) no 658/2007 de la Commission du 14 juin 2007 concernant les sanctions financières applicables en cas d’infraction à certaines obligations fixées dans le cadre des autorisations de mise sur le marché octroyées en vertu du règlement (CE) no 726/2004 du Parlement européen et du Conseil , de manière que toute infraction à ces obligations puisse être frappée des sanctions financières prévues par le règlement (CE) no 658/2007.
In order to ensure the enforcement of the obligations relating to pharmacovigilance introduced by Regulation (EU) No 1235/2010 and Directive 2010/84/EU, it is necessary to adapt Commission Regulation (EC) No 658/2007 of 14 June 2007 concerning financial penalties for infringement of certain obligations in connection with marketing authorisations granted under Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council so that any infringement of those obligations may be subject to the financial penalties provided for in Regulation (EC) No 658/2007.

4. Lorsqu'une entreprise établit, en s'appuyant ou non sur des cadres nationaux, de l'Union ou internationaux, un rapport distinct qui porte sur le même exercice et qui couvre les informations requises pour la déclaration non financière telles qu'elles sont prévues au paragraphe 1, les États membres peuvent exempter ladite entreprise de l'obligation d'établir la déclaration non financière prévue au paragraphe 1 pour autant que ce rapport distinct:

Where an undertaking prepares a separate report corresponding to the same financial year whether or not relying on national, Union-based or international frameworks and covering the information required for the non-financial statement as provided for in paragraph 1, Member States may exempt that undertaking from the obligation to prepare the non-financial statement laid down in paragraph 1, provided that such separate report:

Le 13 juillet 2011, l’Union européenne a notifié au gouvernement de la République démocratique de Sao Tomé-et-Principe son approbation, en date du 12 juillet 2011, du protocole fixant les possibilités de pêche et la contrepartie financière prévues par l’accord de partenariat dans le secteur de la pêche.
On 13 July 2011, the European Union informed the Government of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Principe of its approval, on 12 July 2011, of the Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and the financial contribution provided for by the Fisheries Partnership Agreement.

Dans le but de protéger les intérêts financiers de la Communauté et de préserver l’importance majeure de la conservation des ressources de pêche, l’aide financière prévue dans le cadre du règlement (CE) no 1198/2006 du Conseil du 27 juillet 2006 relatif au Fonds européen pour la pêche ( et du règlement (CE) no 861/2006 du Conseil du 22 mai 2006 portant mesures financières communautaires relatives à la mise en œuvre de la politique commune de la pêche et au droit de la mer devrait être subordonnée au respect, par les États membres, de leurs obligations en matière de contrôle de la pêche et il convient, dès lors, de prévoir la suspension ou l’annulation de cette aide financière en cas de mise en œuvre insatisfaisante des règles de la politique commune de la pêche par les États membres compromettant l’efficacité des mesures faisant l’objet du financement.
For the purposes of protecting the Community financial interest and securing the overriding interest in the conservation of fisheries resources, the financial assistance in the framework of Council Regulation (EC) No 1198/2006 of 27 July 2006 on the European Fisheries Fund and Council Regulation (EC) No 861/2006 of 22 May 2006 establishing Community financial measures for the implementation of the common fisheries policy and in the area of the Law of Sea should be made conditional upon compliance by Member States with their obligations in the fields of fisheries control and thus suspension and cancellation of such financial assistance should be foreseen in cases of an inadequate implementation of the rules of common fisheries policy by Member States which affects the effectiveness of the measures being financed.

The Community has also supported a number of IMF backed stabilisation and reform programmes in the Western Balkans with macro-financial and exceptional financial assistance.
