Content of the national legislation: The proper shipping name to be indicated in the transport document, as provided for in Section 5.4.1 of the RPE (Regulamento Nacional de Transporte de Mercadorias Perigosas por Estrada), for commercial butane and propane gases covered by the collective heading “UN No 1965 hydrocarbon gas mixture, liquefied, n.o.s”.

2. se félicite de la décision de créer une Commission de consolidation de la paix afin de favoriser au sein des pays la transition de l'état de guerre à l'état de paix et reconnaît que la consolidation de la paix requiert des compétences tout à fait différentes de celles qui sont nécessaires à son maintien; souligne qu'il convient que les commissions de consolidation de la paix à l'échelle régionale et mondiale mettent en place les compétences et les capacités nécessaires, avec le soutien d'un bureau d'appui et d'un fonds permanent, de manière à mettre en évidence l'importance de l'ONU dans les zones de crise et post-conflit; invite la 60 Assemblée générale à mettre en œuvre ces dispositions dans les plus brefs délais; se félicite vivement de l'intégration du concept de sécurité humaine dans le cadre officiel de l'ONU;

Commends the decision to create a Peace-Building Commission to help countries make the transition from war to peace, and recognises that peace-building requires an entirely different set of skills to peace-keeping; considers that there is a need for regional and global peace-building commissions to develop the necessary skills and capabilities, backed by a support office and a standing fund, thereby raising the UN's profile in crisis and post-conflict areas; calls on the 60th General Assembly swiftly to implement these provisions; greatly welcomes the inclusion of the concept of human security in the official UN framework;

Je tiens cependant à dire que ce nom est le résultat d'un compromis dans le cadre de l'ONU, que l'ONU a adopté ce nom comme nom officiel du pays et que toutes les autres organisations internationales l'ont adopté comme nom provisoire.
However, what I would say is that this name is the product of compromise and negotiation within the UN and the UN has adopted this as the official name of this country and international organisations have adopted this as a temporary name.

Eu égard à l'appui de l'UE aux résolutions de l'ONU sur le Sahara occidental et à l'inquiétude suscitée par le contenu équivoque de cette lettre, la Commission n'estime-t-elle pas qu'elle devrait rapidement et de concert avec le Conseil, rencontrer officiellement le Secrétaire général de l'ONU au sujet de la définition juridique des eaux du Sahara occidental au sens du droit international, compte tenu du fait que le territoire visé fait l'objet d'un processus d'autodétermination, de façon que la négociation de cet accord n'entraîne aucun malentendu sur la position de l'UE sur l'avenir de ce territoire et que les droits de ses habitants ne soient pas lésés ?
Given the EU’s support for UN resolutions on the Western Sahara and the concern generated by the ambiguous content of the letter sent to Mr Galland, does the Commission not think that, as a matter of urgency and in agreement with the Council, it should officially consult the UN Secretary-General regarding a legal definition of the Western Sahara’s waters based on international law? It should be borne in mind that the territory in question is engaged in a process of self-determination and the negotiations on fisheries agreements should therefore not lead to any misunderstanding regarding the EU’s attitude towards the territory’s future, nor should its inhabitants’ rights be infringed.
