Recalls that Directive 98/27/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 1998 on injunctions for the protection of consumers' interests already aims at the protection of the collective interests of consumers; underlines that this Directive gives inter alia consumer organisations standing to start injunction procedures; asks the Commission to submit, to the Parliament and the Council, a report evaluating how far and why this Directive has or has not brought the expected improvements in relation to the protection of the collective interests of consumers;
