IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

1. Sans préjudice des dispositions des articles X et XXI de la présente Convention, toute prestation qui n’a pas été liquidée ou qui a été suspendue à cause de la nationalité de l’intéressé ou en raison de sa résidence sur le territoire d’une Partie autre que celui où se trouve l’institution débitrice sera, à la demande l’intéressé, liquidée ou rétablie à partir de l’entrée en vigueur de la présente Convention.
1. Subject to the provisions of Articles X and XXI of this Convention, any benefit that was not paid or that was suspended by reason of the nationality of a person or by reason of a person’s residence in the territory of a Party other than that in which the institution responsible for payment is located shall, on application by that person, be paid or reinstated with effect from the entry into force of this Convention.

In this regard any benefit that was not determined and paid or that was suspended by reason of the nationality of the interested person or by reason of his residence in the territory of a State other than that in which the institution responsible for payment is located shall, on the request of the interested person, be determined and paid or reinstituted from the entry into force of this Agreement subject to the rights previously determined not having led to a cash settlement.

Une question qui vient tout de suite à l'esprit est celle de savoir dans quelle mesure toutes les institutions de dépôt, ou du moins toutes celles qui pourront adhérer au système de paiements, voudront bénéficier d'une assurance-dépôts comparable, voire identique, afin d'uniformiser les règles du jeu.
