3. Si l’institution compétente d’une Partie contractante exige qu’un prestataire ou un bénéficiaire qui réside sur le territoire de l’autre Partie contractante subisse un examen médical, l’institution compétente de la dernière Partie contractante, à la demande de l’institution compétente de la première Partie contractante, prend les dispositions nécessaires pour effectuer cet examen.
3. If the competent institution of a Contracting Party requires that a claimant or a beneficiary who resides in the territory of the other Contracting Party undergo a medical examination, the competent institution of the latter Contracting Party, at the request of the competent institution of the first Contracting Party, shall make arrangements for carrying out this examination.

2. Si l’institution compétente d’une Partie exige qu’un requérant ou bénéficiaire qui réside sur le territoire de l’autre Partie subisse un examen médical additionnel, l’organisme de liaison de l’autre Partie, à la demande de l’institution compétente de la première Partie, prendra les dispositions nécessaires pour que ledit examen soit effectué selon les règles appliquées par l’organisme de liaison qui prend lesdites dispositions et aux frais de l’institution qui demande ledit examen médical.
2. If the competent institution of one Party requires that a claimant or a beneficiary who resides in the territory of the other Party undergo an additional medical examination, the liaison agency of the latter Party, at the request of the competent institution of the first Party, will make arrangements for carrying out this examination according to the rules applied by the liaison agency making the said arrangements and at the expense of the institution which requests the medical examination.

Si l’institution compétente d’une Partie demande à celle de l’autre Partie d’effectuer un examen médical d’un requérant ou d’un bénéficiaire qui réside sur le territoire de cette dernière, l’institution de cette dernière Partie prend les arrangements ou effectue ledit examen.
If a competent institution of a Party requests the competent institution of the other Party to conduct a medical examination of an applicant or beneficiary who resides in the territory of the latter Party, such examination shall be arranged or carried out by an institution of the latter Party.

5. Si la législation d’une Partie prévoit qu’une période est admissible pour remplir les conditions d’admissibilité à une pension uniquement lorsque cette période est accomplie dans une activité ou une occupation spécifique, l’institution compétente de cette Partie prend en compte les périodes accomplies aux termes de la législation de l’autre Partie uniquement lorsque ces périodes ont été accomplies pour la même activité ou occupation spécifique.
5. If one Party’s legislation provides that a period is creditable for pension eligibility only when that period is completed in a specific activity or occupation; then that Party’s competent institution shall consider periods completed under the legislation of the other Party only when those periods are completed in that specific activity or occupation.

When creditable periods of coverage have been completed under the legislation of both Contracting States, the competent institution of each Contracting State shall, in determining eligibility for benefits under the legislation which it applies, take into account, to the extent necessary, periods which are creditable under the legislation of the other Contracting State, provided that such periods do not overlap with periods creditable under its legislation.

8. For the calculation of the theoretical amount referred to in Article 52(1)(b)(i) of this Regulation, in pension schemes for liberal professions, the competent institution shall take as a basis, in respect of each of the years of insurance completed under the legislation of any other Member State, the average annual pension entitlement acquired during the period of membership of the competent institution through the payment of contributions.

6 ter.
