7. Recalls that, in accordance with Article 14 of the revised Cotonou Agreement, the joint institutions shall endeavour to ensure coordination, coherence and complementarity as well as an effective and reciprocal flow of information; is of the opinion that, as the President of the European Parliament is invited to the meetings of the European Council, the two Co-Presidents of the JPA should be given the opportunity to participate in the sessions of the Joint ACP-EU Council of Ministers; invites the Vice-President/High Representative to further improve the existing cooperation and ensure that the JPA is invited to participate in the next Joint Council;

1. se réjouit que l'APP, l'une des institutions conjointes de l'accord de Cotonou, continue d'offrir un cadre de dialogue ouvert, démocratique et complet entre les députés du Parlement européen et les parlementaires des pays ACP concernant la mise en œuvre de cet accord, notamment le contrôle de la coopération au développement dans le cadre du FED et la conclusion et l'application des APE; se félicite de la capacité de l'APP à servir d'enceinte permettant d'aborder les sujets difficiles et controversés de manière franche et ouverte; invite dès lors à ce que le futur accord, qui remplacera l'accord de Cotonou, cite explicitement le principe de non-discrimination fondée sur l'orientation sexuelle et l'identité sexuelle, comme l'a demandé le Parlement à plusieurs reprises;

Welcomes the fact that the JPA, as one of the joint institutions of the Cotonou Agreement, continues to provide a framework for an open, democratic and comprehensive dialogue between Members of the European Parliament and the parliamentarians from ACP countries on implementation of this Agreement, including scrutiny of development cooperation under the EDF and conclusion and implementation of the EPAs; welcomes the capacity of the JPA to be a forum in which difficult and controversial subjects can be discussed frankly and openly; calls, therefore, for the future agreement, replacing the Cotonou Agreement, to include an explicit mention of non-discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation or gender identity, as demanded on many occasions by the European Parliament;

Au sein de l'EVN, l'Institut conjoint pour l'interférométrie à très longue base en Europe (JIVE) a été mis en place en 1993 sous la forme d'une entité juridique de droit néerlandais (stitchting/fondation) pour la prestation de services centraux et en particulier le traitement des données (corrélation) recueillies par télescope.
Within the EVN, the Joint Institute for VLBI in Europe (JIVE) has been established in 1993 as a Dutch national legal entity (Stichting/Foundation) to implement central services and in particular the data processing (correlation) of the collected telescope data.

RECONNAISSANT l'organisation de longue date de l'Institut conjoint d'interférométrie à très longue base en Europe et l'importance de l'Espace européen de la recherche, il a été convenu par les parties de transférer toutes les activités opérationnelles de l'entité juridique nationale néerlandaise «Stichting JIVE» dans une entité juridique relevant du règlement (CE) no 723/2009 qui sera dénommée «ERIC JIV».
RECOGNISING the longstanding organisation of the Joint Institute for Very Long Baseline Interferometry in Europe and the importance for the European Research Area it was agreed by the parties to transfer all operational activities from the Dutch national legal entity ‘Stichting JIVE’ into a legal entity under the Regulation (EC) No 723/2009 to be named ‘JIV-ERIC’.

26. Understands the need to respect a certain level of confidentiality in the dialogues and consultations and calls for a favourable response to the request to set up a system, in collaboration with Parliament, whereby selected Members of Parliament could be supplied with information about confidential activities connected with the human rights dialogue or consultation and related procedures; proposes once again that such a system be modelled on the criteria already established by the inter-institutional agreement of 20 November 2006, concerning access to sensitive information of the Council in the field of CFSP;

Si j'ai bien compris, un tel fonds existe déjà et est mentionné dans la déclaration sur les institutions conjointes annexée à l'accord de Cotonou. Il serait en fait de quelque 4 millions d'euros.
If I understand correctly, such a fund already exists, and is mentioned in the Declaration on the Joint Institutions annexed to the Cotonou Agreement and is, in fact, specified to be in the region of EUR 4 000 000.
