Cependant, l’EFSA doit pouvoir entamer la réévaluation d’un additif alimentaire ou d’un groupe d’additifs alimentaires en priorité à la demande de la Commission ou de sa propre initiative si de nouvelles données scientifiques indiquent un risque potentiel pour la santé humaine ou peuvent influencer d’une quelconque manière l’évaluation de la sécurité d’un additif alimentaire.
EFSA should however be in a position to start the re-evaluation of a food additive or a group of food additives with higher priority, on a request from the Commission or on its own initiative, if new scientific evidence emerges that indicates a possible risk for human health or which in any way may affect the assessment of the safety of a food additive.
