Ireland is taking part in this [instrument] in accordance with Article 5(1) of Protocol No 19 on the Schengen acquis integrated into the framework of the European Union, annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and Article 6(2) of Council Decision 2002/192/EC of 28 February 2002 concerning Ireland's request to take part in some of the provisions of the Schengen acquis*.

4. Support provided for in points (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) of paragraph 1(a) and paragraphs 1(b) and (e) of article 68 shall be limited to 6.5 % of the national ceilings referred to in Article 40 or, in the case of Malta, to the amount of EUR 2 000 000, referred to in Article 69(1) of this Regulation, to be used in particular to the funding of the measures referred to in Article 68(1)(b) in the dairy sector.

1. Outre les mesures prévues à l’article 61, paragraphe 1, à l’article 62, à l’article 65, paragraphes 1 et 2, à l’article 68, paragraphe 1, et dans les actes délégués adoptés en application de l’article 67 et de l’article 68, paragraphe 2, les États membres peuvent prendre des mesures supplémentaires de lutte contre la maladie à condition que celles-ci respectent les dispositions du présent règlement et soient nécessaires et proportionnées en vue de maîtriser la propagation de la maladie répertoriée visée à l’article 8, paragraphe 1, point a), compte tenu:
1. Member States may take additional disease control measures to those provided for in Article 61(1), Article 62, Article 65(1) and (2) and Article 68(1) and in delegated acts adopted pursuant to Article 67 and Article 68(2), provided that such measures are in line with the rules laid down in this Regulation and they are necessary and proportionate to control the spread of the listed disease referred to in Article 8(1)(a), taking into account:

That date shall be the date of the application of the corresponding rules to be adopted pursuant to the delegated acts provided for in Articles 44(1), 47(1) 48(3), 53(1) 54(3) and 58(2), Article 63, Article 64(4), Article 67, and Articles 68(2) and 70(3) of this Regulation.

The empowerment in Article 68(5) may be exercised after the entry into force of the delegated act referred to in Article 67(6), whereas the empowerment in Article 68(6) may be exercised three years after the entry into force of the delegated act referred to in Article 67(6).

2. En 2010 et 2011, les États membres qui ont appliqué l'article 68, paragraphe 1, l'article 68, paragraphe 2, point a) ii), ou l'article 68, paragraphe 2, point b), du règlement (CE) no 1782/2003 et les nouveaux États membres qui ont appliqué le régime de paiement unique à la surface peuvent conserver tout ou partie de la composante des plafonds nationaux visés à l'article 40 du présent règlement qui correspond à la prime à l'abattage pour les veaux, à la prime à l'abattage pour les animaux de l'espèce bovine autres que les veaux et à la prime spéciale aux bovins mâles.

In 2010 and 2011, the Member States having applied Article 68(1), Article 68(2)(a)(ii) or Article 68(2)(b) of Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 and the new Member States having applied the single area payment scheme may retain all or part of the national ceilings referred to in Article 40 of this Regulation corresponding to the slaughtering premium for calves, the slaughtering premium for bovine animals other than calves or the special male premium.

2. En 2010 et 2011, les États membres qui, en application de l’article 68, paragraphe 1, de l’article 68 , paragraphe 2, point a) ii) ou de l’article 68, paragraphe 2, point b), du règlement (CE) n° 1782/2003, ont conservé la totalité ou une partie de la composante des plafonds nationaux visés à l’article 41 qui correspond à la prime à l’abattage pour les veaux, à la prime à l’abattage pour les animaux de l’espèce bovine autres que les veaux et à la prime spéciale aux bovins mâles peuvent effectuer des paiements supplémentaires en faveur des agriculteurs.

In 2010 and 2011, Member States that in accordance with Article 68(1), 68(2)(a)(ii) or 68(2)(b) of Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 retained all or part of the national ceilings referred to in Article 41 of this Regulation corresponding to the slaughtering premium for calves, the slaughtering premium for animals other than for calves or the special male premium may make an additional payment to farmer.
