12 (1) A contributor who, not having reached sixty years of age but having become entitled under this Part to a deferred annuity, or not having reached fifty years of age but having become entitled under this Part to an annual allowance payable on reaching fifty years of age, becomes disabled ceases to be entitled to that deferred annuity or annual allowance and becomes entitled to an immediate annuity.

(5) The member making the election under subsection (4) shall pay into the Canadian Forces Pension Fund, at the time and in the manner prescribed by the Regulations, an amount equal to the amount of the annuity or annual allowance multiplied by the member’s number of days of Canadian Forces service while in receipt of the annuity or annual allowance, divided by 365.

22. For the purposes of subsections 11(1) and (2) of the Act, where a person in receipt of an annuity or annual allowance requests that it be paid otherwise than in equal monthly instalments, or where the payment of an annuity or annual allowance in equal monthly instalments is not practicable for administrative reasons, the Minister may direct, if such direction does not result in the payment of an aggregate amount greater than the aggregate amount of equal monthly instalments otherwise payable in accordance with the said subsections, that the annuity or annual allowance shall be paid in arrears
