1. L’Union européenne (UE) mène une opération militaire à l’appui des résolutions 1814 (2008), 1816 (2008), 1838 (2008), 1846 (2008) et 1851 (2008) du Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies (CSNU) d’une manière conforme à l’action autorisée en cas de piraterie en application des articles 100 et suivants de la convention des Nations unies sur le droit de la mer signée à Montego Bay le 10 décembre 1982 (ci-après dénommée “convention des Nations unies sur le droit de la mer”) et par le biais, notamment, d’engagements pris avec les États tiers (“Atalanta”), en vue de contribuer:
1. The European Union (EU) shall conduct a military operation in support of Resolutions 1814 (2008), 1816 (2008), 1838 (2008), 1846 (2008) and 1851 (2008) of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), in a manner consistent with action permitted with respect to piracy under Article 100 et seq. of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea signed in Montego Bay on 10 December 1982 (hereinafter referred to as “the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea”) and by means, in particular, of commitments made with third States (“Atalanta”) in order to contribute to:

(18) Afin d'assurer la cohérence et l'efficacité des actions prévues dans ce règlement, ainsi que leur bonne gestion et l'utilisation efficace des financements de l'Union, il convient de déléguer à la Commission le pouvoir d'adopter des actes conformément à l'article 290 du traité, en ce qui concerne les conditions spécifiques de visibilité des marques et la mention de l'origine des produits, les critères d'éligibilité des entités proposantes, les conditions de mise en concurrence des organismes d'exécution ainsi que les conditions selon lesquelles l'entité proposante peut être autorisée à exécuter elle-même certaines parties du programme, et enfin les conditions spécifiques d'éligibilité pour les programmes simples des coûts des actions d'information et de promotion.
(18) In order to ensure the coherence, effectiveness and sound management of the measures provided for in this Regulation as well as the efficient use of Union funding, the Commission should be delegated the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 of the Treaty as regards the specific conditions of brand visibility and the indication of product origin, the criteria for determining the eligibility of proposing organisations, the conditions governing competitive tendering between implementing organisations and the conditions according to which the proposing organisation may be authorised to implement certain parts of the programme itself and, finally, the specific conditions determining the eligibility of the costs of information provision and promotion measures for simple programmes.

(18) Afin d'assurer la cohérence et l'efficacité des actions prévues dans ce règlement, ainsi que leur bonne gestion et l'utilisation efficace des financements de l'Union, il convient de déléguer à la Commission le pouvoir d'adopter des actes conformément à l'article 290 TFUE, en ce qui concerne les conditions spécifiques de visibilité des marques et la mention de l'origine des produits, les critères d'éligibilité des entités proposantes, les conditions de mise en concurrence des organismes d'exécution ainsi que les conditions selon lesquelles l'entité proposante peut être autorisée à exécuter elle-même certaines parties du programme, les programmes de travail fixant les priorités stratégiques et enfin les conditions spécifiques d'éligibilité pour les programmes simples des coûts des actions d'information et de promotion.
(18) In order to ensure the coherence, effectiveness and sound management of the measures provided for in this Regulation as well as the efficient use of Union funding, the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 TFEU should be delegated to the Commission in respect of the specific conditions of brand visibility and the indication of product origin, the criteria for determining the eligibility of proposing organisations, the conditions governing competitive tendering between implementing organisations and the conditions according to which the proposing organisation may be authorised to implement certain parts of the programme itself, the work programmes laying down strategic priorities, and, finally, the specific conditions determining the eligibility of the costs of information provision and promotion measures for simple programmes.

Professional association (no incorporation) among natural persons permitted.FR: provision through SEL (anonyme, à responsabilité limitée ou en commandite par actions) or SCP only.AT: foreign tax advisors’ (who must be authorised according to the law of their home country) equity participation and shares in the operating results of any Austrian legal entity may not exceed 25 per cent; this applies only to non-members of the Austrian Professional Body.CY: access is restricted to natural persons who have obtained authorisation from the Minister of Finance. Authorisation is subject to economic needs test.

(4) Les sociétés anonymes devraient être autorisées à acquérir leurs propres actions dans la limite de leurs réserves distribuables et la durée pendant laquelle une telle acquisition peut être autorisée par l'assemblée générale devrait être allongée afin de renforcer la flexibilité et de réduire les contraintes administratives des sociétés qui doivent réagir rapidement aux développements du marché qui affectent le cours de leurs actions.
(4) Public limited liability companies should be allowed to acquire their own shares up to the limit of the company's distributable reserves and the period for which such an acquisition may be authorised by the general meeting should be increased so as to enhance flexibility and reduce the administrative burden for companies which have to react promptly to market developments affecting their share price.

The Community is taking an active part in preparing for the Technical Consultation on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing which will be held in Rome on 2-6 October 2000 and which will deal with possible actions including supporting measures for the international fish trade in order to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing activities.
