Dans sa dernière communication relative au champ d’action et aux priorités du futur programme thématique pour l’environnement et la gestion durable des ressources naturelles, y compris l’énergie, la Commission déclare expressément que «[d]es mécanismes de financement novateurs et souples sont nécessaires dans les plus brefs délais»[10]. Je pense que l’accord interinstitutionnel auquel nous sommes parvenus est un bon accord et je tiens à féliciter ma collègue, Mme Frassoni, pour le travail de la commission des affaires constitutionnelles, mais aussi pour le travail qu’elle a réalisé. Je tiens aussi à féliciter pour leur travail le président Gargani ainsi que plusieurs membres de ce groupe de travail interinstitutionnel - MM. Swoboda et Clegg.
I believe that the interinstitutional agreement reached is a good agreement and I would like to congratulate my colleague, Mrs Frassoni, on the work of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, on the work she herself has done and also the good work done by President Gargani and many members of that interinstitutional working group – Mr Swoboda and Mr Clegg – and we in the Committee on Legal Affairs are happy with the result.
