Therefore, until specific legislation on food from animal clones enters into force, food from animal clones should fall under the scope of this Regulation as food from animals obtained by non-traditional breeding practices and should be appropriately labelled for the final consumer in accordance with the Union legislation in force.

(28) Pour faire en sorte que les produits biologiques soient obtenus conformément aux exigences du cadre juridique communautaire applicable à la production biologique, il y a lieu que toutes les activités relevant du champ d’application de la législation considérée soient contrôlées d’un bout à l’autre de la chaîne de production et soient conformes aux règles fixées dans le règlement (CE) n° 882/2004 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 29 avril 2004 relatif aux contrôles officiels effectués pour s’assurer de la conformité avec la législation sur les aliments pour animaux et les denrées alimentaires et avec les dispositions relatives à la santé animale et au bien-être des animaux.
(28) In order to ensure that organic products are produced in accordance with the requirements laid down under the Community legal framework on organic production, all activities falling under the scope of this legislation should be controlled throughout the production chain and be in conformity with the rules laid down in Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules.

(28) Pour faire en sorte que les produits biologiques soient obtenus conformément aux exigences du cadre juridique communautaire applicable à la production biologique, il y a lieu que toutes les activités relevant du champ d’application de la législation considérée soient contrôlées d’un bout à l’autre de la chaîne de production sur la base de l'ISO 65/EN 45011, conçue de façon spécifique pour l'agriculture biologique dans le monde entier, dans le cadre des critères d'accréditation de la Fédération internationale des mouvements d'agriculture biologique (IFOAM).
(28) In order to ensure that organic products are produced in accordance with the requirements laid down under the Community legal framework on organic production, all activities falling under the scope of this legislation should be controlled throughout the production chain on the basis of ISO 65/EN 45011 as developed specifically for organic agriculture worldwide within the IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) Accreditation Criteria.
