SKET WT compte parmi les " sociétés SKET" qui avaient été créées à la suite de la faillite (Gesamtvollstreckung, régime de faillite des entreprises situées dans les nouveaux Länder) du grand conglomérat industriel SKET Schwermaschinenbau Magdeburg GmbH ("SKET SMM") en octobre 1996.

In October 1996 SKET SMM went into bankruptcy (Gesamtvollstreckung, the form of bankruptcy applied to firms in the new Länder).
