Notes with concern that, according to the replies to the rapporteur's questionnaire, the ECA continues to face recruitment difficulties as regards professionally qualified staff for several posts from competitions organised by EPSO in part due to the higher cost of living in Luxembourg and the lesser attractiveness of the salary at the basic AD5 grade; welcomes however the significant decrease in the number of vacant posts from 74 in 2006 to 56 in 2007 and commends the ECA's intention to further reduce the number of vacant posts and their relative share in the total establishment plan in the current and coming years;
