C'est la première fois qu'un lot contaminé arrive dans l'Union européenne depuis l'adoption de mesures communautaires visant à prévenir l'importation de produits contenant du maïs Bt10 (cf. IP/05/437) et cela prouve que les mesures en vigueur fonctionnent comme il se doit.
This is the first case of a contaminated consignment arriving in the EU since the adoption of EU measures to prevent the import of products containing the maize Bt10 (see IP/05/437) and it demonstrates that the measures in place are functioning as they should.
