La loi no 530/2007 Rec. adoptée en 2007 a modifié la loi no 581/2004 Rec. et interdit à compter du 1er janvier 2008 aux sociétés d'assurance maladie opérant dans le secteur de l'assurance maladie obligatoire de distribuer leurs bénéfices sous la forme de dividendes, les obligeant ainsi à les réinvestir dans le système de santé slovaque.
In 2007, Act No 530/2007 amended Act No 581/2004 and prohibited insurance companies active in the compulsory health insurance sector from paying out profits in the form of dividends with effect from 1 January 2008, thereby imposing an obligation to reinvest surpluses generated in the Slovak health system.
