L’article 2 du projet de loi modifie l’article 26 (qui devient le par. 26(1)) de la LRM en donnant force de loi à l’article 18 de la Convention de 1976 sur la limitation de responsabilité en matière de créances maritimes ainsi qu’aux articles 8 et 9 du Protocole de 1996 la modifiant.
