Le 9 février 2010, conformément à l'article 126, paragraphe 7, du TFUE et à l'article 3, paragraphe 4, du règlement (CE) no 1467/97, le Conseil, sur recommandation de la Commission, constatant que les autorités lituaniennes avaient engagé une action suivie d'effets conformément à la recommandation du Conseil du 7 juillet 2009 et que des événements économiques négatifs et inattendus ayant des conséquences défavorables majeures pour les finances publiques s'étaient produits en Lituanie, a adressé une recommandation révisée à la Lituanie pour qu'il soit mis fin à la situation de déficit excessif d'ici la fin 2012.
On 9 February 2010, in accordance with Article 126(7) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and Article 3(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1467/97, the Council, based on a recommendation from the Commission, acknowledging that the Lithuanian authorities had taken effective action in compliance with the Council Recommendation of 7 July 2009 and that unexpected adverse economic events with major unfavourable consequences for government finances had occurred in Lithuania, addressed a revised Recommendation to Lithuania with a view to bringing the excessive deficit situation to an end by 2012.
