Si on lit cela, on voit que le nouveau propriétaire des biens de la Société de développement du Cap-Breton devra conclure une entente concernant de futurs arrangements contractuels avec la Nova Scotia Power Corporation. Une lettre d'intention énonce les besoins de l'entente à long terme qui existe maintenant, ainsi que des nouveaux arrangements contractuels avec la Nova Scotia Power Corporation.
If we read the agreement, it says that the new owner of the Cape Breton Development Corporation assets will need to come to an agreement regarding future contractual arrangements with Nova Scotia Power Inc. A letter of intent profiles the requirements of the long-term agreement in existence now, plus new contractual relationships with Nova Scotia Power.

Il me semble que quand on lit ce rapport on retient deux choses: d'abord, on y trouve une analyse franche de l'ampleur du problème auquel nous faisons face, mais en même temps on y découvre clairement la créativité, la détermination et la véritable ténacité des gens du Cap-Breton ainsi que leur volonté de prendre les choses en main, de faire du mieux qu'ils peuvent avec les fonds dont ils disposent, de faire fructifier ces fonds et, somme toute, de franchir une étape économique historique.
I think if you read through that report you can get a sense of two things: first of all, a candid analysis of the magnitude of the challenge, that this is not an easy situation to deal with, but at the same time, a very clear sense of the creativity, the determination, the real indomitable spirit of the people of Cape Breton and their sheer will to take charge of the situation, make best use of the funds available, leverage those funds into larger amounts, and to turn what may be an historic economic corner.
