À une réunion de l’Équipe provinciale de reconstruction (EPR) de Kandahar, le lieutenant-colonel Dana Woodworth a dit que le Canada doit garder à l’esprit qu’il lui faut faire preuve de « patience opérationnelle », qu’il est toujours impératif de consulter la population locale et que l’on aurait tort de céder à l’impulsion d’aller tout régler rapidement.
At a meeting of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team (KPRT), Lieutenant-Colonel Dana Woodworth told the Committee that Canada needs to keep reminding itself that it must proceed with “operational patience” – that consultation with local people is always imperative, and that the urge to just go in and “fix things” is always a mistake.
