Au terme de la mise aux voix en première lecture, la position suivante a émergé sur le champ d'application de la directive, notamment sur la question de la santé humaine: tandis que l'amendement 84 excluait de l'article 1 de la proposition de la Commission les risques potentiels pour la santé humaine, six amendements (2, 9, 10, 15 première partie, 16, 18, 26 et 54) préconisaient des mesures nationales en faveur de la santé des travailleurs.
As far as the aim of the directive is concerned, the vote at first reading took the following stance on human health: whereas Amendment 84 deleted the potential risks to human health from Article 1 of the Commission proposal, six other amendments (2, 9, 10, 15 first part, 16, 18, 26 and 54) sought to safeguard national measures to protect the health of workers.
