If, after the date of entry into force of the previous Agreement but before the date of entry into force of this Agreement, a person submits an application for a benefit under the legislation of a Party, and if, on the date of entry into force of this Agreement, the competent institution of that Party has not yet reached a decision on that application, that competent institution shall apply the provisions of the previous Agreement when determining that person’s entitlement to that benefit.

Where the legislation of a Member State is applicable to a person, the body designated by the competent authority of that Member State shall send to the designated body of the Member State of nationality of that person all the information relating to the identity of that person, including the identification number allocated to that person by the competent institution for pensions in the first Member State and the name of the said competent institution.
