4. souligne l'importance du principe d'universalité du statut de Rome et demande à la vice‑présidente de la Commission/haute représentante de l'Union pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité de promouvoir activement l'adhésion au statut tel que modifié et sa ratification, ainsi que la ratification des deux amendements de Kampala; fait valoir que la ratification et la mise en œuvre du statut de Rome devraient constituer un objectif important pour l'Union dans ses relations avec d'autres partenaires, notamment les États‑Unis, la Chine, la Russie et Israël;

Underlines the importance of the principle of universality of the Rome Statute and calls on the Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy actively to promote accession to and ratification of the Statute as amended and the ratification of both Kampala amendments; insists that the ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute should be an important objective for the EU in its relations with other partners, in particular the United States, China, Russia and Israel;
