C’est à l’occasion de l’inauguration de la station d’épuration de Namur-Brumagne, un ouvrage important faisant partie de ce programme, que Philippe Maystadt, Président de la Banque européenne d’investissement et Jean-Luc Martin et Michel Cornelis, représentant la SPGE, ont signé les contrats pour une première tranche de 100 millions d’euros sur 200 millions approuvés par la BEI.
At the opening ceremony for the Namur-Brumagne water treatment plant, a major facility included in the programme, EIB President Philippe Maystadt and SPGE’s representatives Jean-Luc Martin and Michel Cornelis signed the contracts for the first EUR 100 million instalment of the EUR 200 million approved by the EIB.

Le contrat de financement d’une première tranche de 100 millions d’euros a été signé le 22 décembre 2004 par MM. Philippe Maystadt, Président de la BEI et Jean-Luc Martin, Président du Conseil d’administration de la SPGE en présence de MM. Jean-Claude Marcourt, Ministre wallon de l’Economie et de l’Emploi et Benoît Lutgen, Ministre wallon de l’Agriculture, de la Ruralité, de l’Environnement et du Tourisme.
The finance contract for an initial tranche of EUR 100 million was signed on 22 December 2004 by EIB President Philippe Maystadt and SPGE Board Chairman Jean-Luc Martin in the presence of Jean-Claude Marcourt, Walloon Minister for the Economy and Employment and Benoît Lutgen, Walloon Minister for Agriculture, Rural Affairs, the Environment and Tourism.
