Conformément au règlement (UE) n° 1053/2013 portant création d’un mécanisme d’évaluation et de contrôle destiné à vérifier l’application de l’acquis de Schengen[14], le comité Schengen a été établi et convoqué pour la première fois le 17 janvier 2014, afin de discuter de la mise en œuvre pratique du nouveau mécanisme.
In line with the Regulation 1053/2013 establishing an evaluation and monitoring mechanism to verify the application of the Schengen acquis[14], the Schengen Committee has been established and convened for the first time on 17 January 2014, where the practical implementation of the new Schengen evaluation mechanism was discussed.
