On pouvait notamment y lire ceci : "Vouloir faire changer d'avis la population irlandaise serait contraire à tous les engagements pris par l'UE quant à la nécessité d'élargir le débat populaire et d'assurer un meilleur ancrage au sein de la population.

Le problème ne serait pas survenu si j’avais été autorisé à rédiger ce rapport en langue irlandaise, puisque j’aurais alors utilisé le terme irlandais iascaire qui, contrairement à l’anglais «fisherman», est neutre et englobe toutes les personnes impliquées dans le secteur.
