La Commission européenne continuera à servir de catalyseur afin de mener ces négociations, qui seront inévitablement délicates, vers une issue heureuse.
I believe that the achievement of economic and monetary union based on an independent Central Bank system committed to maintaining broadly stable prices is in the interest of everyone both within the Community and outside; and the European Commission will continue to act as catalyst to guide the inevitably delicate negotiations to a successful outcome.
