Points to the overriding importance of infrastructure for an industrial economy; therefore asks to allocate substantially adequate financial resources during the next MFF period to the Trans-European Networks (TEN), in particular in the fields of transport and energy in support of projects with a European added value which cannot be financed by the market; asks in this respect to explore the opportunities offered by Project Bonds for major European infrastructure projects fully involving the European Investment Bank; points to the high importance of Galileo as an important European infrastructure project;
