Même si les objectifs originels de la directive MIF sont toujours pertinents, force est de constater que les problèmes soulevés touchent à des aspects essentiels du fonctionnement de nos marchés financiers, de l’ouverture et de la transparence dont ils doivent faire preuve et de l’obligation qu’ils ont de permettre aux investisseurs d’accéder aux instruments financiers et aux possibilités d’investissement.
While recognising that the original objectives of MiFID are still valid, the issues at stake are critical aspects of how our financial markets function, how open and transparent they need to be and how investors can gain access to financial instruments and investment opportunities.
