TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

2. rappelle au président et au gouvernement égyptiens qu'il est de leur devoir de représenter toutes les franges de la société égyptienne et les invite à revoir leurs politiques, en écoutant les millions de personnes qui défilent dans les rues du Caire et de tout le pays, afin de rétablir la confiance élémentaire dans le gouvernement et l'unité des Égyptiens; souligne que l'Égypte ne devrait pas revenir à une situation où l'armée dominerait la politique et dirigerait le pays; souligne qu'il est essentiel de rétablir la stabilité politique en Égypte, notamment dans le contexte des difficultés économiques qui s'aggravent, et invite tous les acteurs concernés à œuvrer à l'achèvement d'une transition politique et constitutionnelle afin de consolider les institutions démocratiques et l'état de droit;
2. Reminds the Egyptian President and government of their duty to represent all parts of Egyptian society, and calls on them to reconsider their policies by listening to the millions of people marching in the streets in Cairo and across the country, with the aim of restoring basic trust in the government and the unity of the people of Egypt; stresses that Egypt should not slide back to a situation of military leaders dominating politics and leading the country; underlines the crucial importance of restoring political stability in Egypt, also in the context of aggravating economic difficulties, and calls on all relevant actors to work towards the completion of a political and constitutional transition with the aim of consolidating democratic institutions and the rule of law;

8. considère avec une grande inquiétude les indicateurs négatifs concernant l'état de droit, l'indépendance du système judiciaire et la lutte contre la torture en Égypte; appelle le gouvernement égyptien à pleinement respecter, soutenir et promouvoir l'indépendance et l'intégrité des institutions judiciaires du pays; encourage les autorités égyptiennes à lancer un véritable processus de justice transitoire afin que soit assumée la responsabilité des violations des droits de l'homme commises avant, pendant et après la révolution de 2011;
8. Views with serious concern the negative indicators with regard to the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the fight against torture in Egypt; calls on the Egyptian Government to fully respect, support and promote the independence and integrity of judicial institutions in the country; encourages the Egyptian authorities to initiate a genuine process of transitional justice with a view to ensuring accountability for human rights violations committed before, during and after the 2011 revolution;

6. invite la Commission et le Conseil à exprimer leur vive préoccupation aux institutions égyptiennes concernant le nouveau procès intenté contre 50 citoyens égyptiens sur la base de leur orientation sexuelle, et à suivre de près l'évolution de ce procès qui a débuté le 2 juillet 2002;
6. Asks the Commission and the Council to express serious concern to the Egyptian authorities regarding the retrial of 50 Egyptian citizens on grounds of their sexual orientation, and to follow closely developments during the retrial which began on 2 July 2002;

6. invite la Commission et le Conseil à exprimer leur vive préoccupation aux institutions égyptiennes concernant le nouveau procès intenté contre cinquante-deux citoyens égyptiens sur la base de leur orientation sexuelle, et à suivre de près l'évolution de ce procès qui doit débuter le 2 juillet;
