Je dis référendum, car le terme "manifestation" est trop insignifiant pour décrire ce qui s'est passé le 15 février. Les peuples d'Europe ont réclamé deux choses de façon très déterminée : premièrement, très simplement et clairement, pas de guerre et deuxièmement, une politique étrangère européenne commune qui soit capable d'empêcher cette guerre.
I use the word ‘referendum’ because calling it a demonstration does not do anything like justice to what happened on that day, when the peoples of Europe made very firm demands for two things, the first being, quite simply and unequivocally, ‘No War’, and the second, a common European foreign policy capable of stopping this one.
