Infrastructures This subprogramme aims to set in motion a series of coordinated measures in the field of infrastructures, thus ensuring the conditions for the successful implementation of measures concerned with the development of economic activity. To achieve these objectives the programme concentrates on the following : - the creation of the necessary industrial and technological infrastructure, - the development of tourist resources and upgrading of tourist services, - the improvement of the regional transport infrastructure (roads, ports, airport), - the improvement of basic and social infrastructure, - rural development measures aiming at the improvement of agricultural productivity as well as the protection of natural resources and the environment, - vocational training activities directly linked to the development priorities of the region.
