3. (3) Undisclosed information communicated under this Agreement may be disseminated by the receiving Party to persons employed by the receiving Party, including its contractors and other concerned departments of the Party authorised for the specific purposes of the joint research underway, on a-need-to-know basis and provided that any undisclosed information so disseminated shall be protected in accordance with this Annex and to the extent provided by each Party’s laws and regulations, and shall be readily recognisable as such, as set out above.

31. 15. Si des informations classifiées au niveau RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED ou à son équivalent, ou des informations classifiées «autres informations confidentielles», sont déposées auprès d'un organe ou d'un titulaire de mandat au sein du Parlement autre que l'UIC, il incombe au secrétariat de cet organe ou à ce titulaire de mandat de veiller à ce que la consultation et le traitement desdites informations soient effectués en conformité avec l'article 7, paragraphe 3, à l'article 8, paragraphes 1, 2 et 4, à l'article 9, paragraphes 3 à 5, à l'article 10, paragraphes 2 à 6, et à l'article 11 de la présente décision ainsi qu'aux instructions de traitement applicables.
15. When information classified at the level RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED or its equivalent and ‘other confidential information’ is deposited with a parliamentary body/office-holder other than the CIU, the secretariat of that parliamentary body/office-holder shall ensure that consultation and handling of the information in question complies with Article 7(3), Article 8(1), (2) and (4), Article 9(3), (4) and (5), Article 10(2) to (6), and Article 11 of this Decision and the appropriate handling instructions.

When information classified at the level RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED or its equivalent and ‘other confidential information’ is deposited with the CIU and has to be consulted outside the Secure Area, the CIU shall transmit a copy to the appropriate authorised service which shall ensure that consultation and handling of the information in question complies with Article 8(2) and Article 10 of this Decision and the appropriate handling instructions.

1. For the adoption of the measures necessary for the implementation of Chapter V, particularly those designed to ensure that all the national authorities and the Community authority apply the same principles and minimum standards for avoiding disclosure of confidential Community statistical data and the conditions governing access for scientific purposes, in accordance with Article 17 (2), to confidential data held by the Community authority, the Commission shall be assisted by the Committee on Statistical Confidentiality set up by Article 7 of Council Regulation (Euratom, EEC) No 1588/90 of 11 June 1990 on the transmission of data subject to statistical confidentiality to the Statistical Office of the European Communities (9).
