Tant que ces questions fondamentales ne seront pas abordées et que le gouvernement turc ne respectera pas notre Charte des droits fondamentaux, nombreux seront ceux qui, parmi nous, hésiterons sérieusement à soutenir leur adhésion à l’Union européenne.
Until these fundamental matters are addressed and the Turkish Government respects our own Charter of Fundamental Rights, many of us will have grave misgivings before supporting their accession to the European Union.
