Nous avons pu, hélas seulement après les catastrophes de New York et Washington, reconstituer un parcours, qui a duré plusieurs années, de préparatifs terroristes de la part de personnes et d'organisations liées à Oussama ben Laden, qui ont agi précisément sur le territoire européen : de nombreux indices apparemment sans importance, liés en réalité par un unique fil conducteur, mais que nous avons réunis trop tard, seulement après le 11 septembre, après la mort de milliers de personnes innocentes.
We have all had the opportunity, although, sadly, only since the New York and Washington carnage, to reconstruct the series of preparations for terrorist attacks made on our own European territory over the years by people and organisations linked to Osama Bin Laden: the many, apparently unimportant signs actually linked by a single thread and whose connection, sadly, we did not realise until it was too late, until after 11 September, when thousands of innocent people had already died.
