TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Je voudrais donc réitérer mon avertissement concernant la formulation problématique de la constitution hongroise, notamment dans la section D, qui porte sur la responsabilité de la Hongrie pour tous les Hongrois, sur une nation hongroise unique, sur des droits collectifs et sur l’institution d’autorités collectives autonomes dans d’autres pays, sur la base du principe d’ethnicité.
I would therefore like to repeat my warning about the problematic wording of the Hungarian constitution, particularly in the formulation of Section D, which talks about the responsibility of Hungary for all Hungarians, about a single Hungarian nation, about collective rights and about the creation of collective self-governing authorities in other countries, based on the principle of ethnicity.

Je pense qu’on entame les travaux par rapport au décrochage scolaire sous la Présidence belge et que les Présidences suivantes, la Présidence hongroise, notamment, pourront très certainement initier un projet de recommandation, non seulement pour diminuer le taux de décrochage scolaire mais aussi pour conclure sur cet aspect cartographique des vingt-sept pays membres, sur ce que deviennent les élèves qui décrochent du cursus scolaire quand ils sont notamment marginalisés et qu’ils ne sont pas récupérés, comme vous l’indiquez, par un système d’enseignement plus technique.
I think that the work in relation to early school leaving has got off to a good start under the Belgian Presidency and that subsequent presidencies, the Hungarian Presidency in particular, will certainly be able to initiate a draft recommendation, not only to reduce the early school-leaving rate, but also to draw conclusions from this mapping of the 27 Member States about what becomes of those pupils who leave school early, in particular, when they are marginalised and when they are not picked up by a more vocational education system, as you point out.

whereas the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights called on the Hungarian authorities, when reviewing the media law, to take account of Council of Europe standards on freedom of expression and media pluralism, the relevant recommendations of the Committee of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and, in particular, the binding standards set out in the ECHR and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights; whereas he referred to the use of unclear definitions which are open to misinterpretation, the establishment of politically unbalanced regulatory machinery with disproportionate powers which is not subject to full judicial supervision, threats to the independence of public-service broadcast media, and erosion of the protection of journalists’ sources; whereas he also stressed the need for all relevant stakeholders, including opposition parties and civil society, to be able to participate in a meaningful manner in the review of this legislation, which regulates such a fundamental aspect of the functioning of a democratic society (6),
