C’est pourquoi j’attache une importance toute symbolique au fait que la constitution hongroise sera dorénavant celle de 2011, année où – cadeau ou compensation de l’histoire – nous pouvons pour la première fois exercer la présidence de l’Union européenne.
This is why I feel that it is important and speaks volumes that the Hungarian constitution will bear the current year from now on. It will bear the year 2011, when, as a kind of gift of history, as a form of redress, we can hold the office of the Presidency of the European Union for the first time.
