L'Union européenne réitère son soutien aux initiatives prises en faveur d'un règlement pacifique du conflit et, à la suite des décisions arrêtées lors du Conseil ministériel de l'OSCE tenu à Ljubljana en décembre 2005, sa conviction selon laquelle le plan de paix fondé sur les initiatives du président géorgien présentées lors de la 59 session de l'Assemblée générale des Nations Unies servira de base au règlement pacifique du conflit.
The European Union recalls its support for the initiatives taken towards peaceful resolution of the conflict and, following decisions made at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Ljubljana in December 2005, its belief that the Peace Plan built upon the initiatives of the President of Georgia presented at the 59th UNGA will serve as a basis for the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
