La Commission et les États membres devraient en outre agir tant par la voie diplomatique qu'au sein de l'OMC afin d'obtenir qu'il soit mis fin à l'utilisation abusive de ces dénominations d'origine ou, à tout le moins, d'obtenir le libre accès de ces dénominations géographiques européennes devenues d'utilisation commune ou qui ont déjà été utilisées auparavant.
The Commission and the Member States should also take appropriate action at diplomatic level and in the WTO to bring to an end the misuse of such designations of origin or, at the very least, ensure free access for such European geographical designations that are customary or are already in use.
