La sénatrice Neiman, qui a grandement contribué à la création du Comité il y a plus de dix ans, consacre beaucoup de temps et d’énergie à cette cause : elle assiste à des réunions au cours des deux assemblées statutaires, se rend à Genève pour deux autres réunions au siège de l’Union, et elle se déplace dans différents pays pour enquêter directement sur certains des cas examinés.
Senator Neiman, who was instrumental in the establishment of this Committee over a decade ago, devotes considerable time and energy to this cause — attending meetings during the two statutory conferences, travelling to Geneva for two other meetings at the Union Headquarters and visiting foreign countries to investigate at first hand some of the cases under consideration.
