Alors, dans mon introduction, permettez-moi de résumer brièvement les grands objectifs que nous poursuivons après avoir entendu le point de vue de plus d'une cinquantaine de pays dans le cadre des bilatérales que nous avons tenues de par le monde et d'une grande rencontre informelle que nous avons tenue il y a deux semaines à Ottawa, où il y a eu environ 140 bilatérales, beaucoup de multilatérales ainsi que des séminaires, etc.
Therefore, in my introduction, I would like to briefly summarize the main objectives that we are seeking after having heard the opinion of more than 50 countries during the bilateral meetings that we held throughout the world, as well as at an informal meeting that we held two weeks ago in Ottawa, where there were some 140 bilaterals, a number of multilaterals, and seminars, etc.

The Joint Committee is to hold its first meeting on 14 June. There will be three main points on the agenda : - young people and sport, in particular exchanges; - the implications for sport of the completion of the internal market in 1992, with special reference to the recognition of diplomas, taxation problems, etc; - an exchange of views in preparation for the informal meeting of the Member States Ministers for Sport, to be held in Athens on 16 and 17 July.
